Home visits and Bike fundraising

We're excited to announce that next month we'll start home visits! Initially, we will conduct home visits two days a week. We planned to begin with more, and we're working to reach even more families. And here’s some exciting news: a church in Kent has generously gifted us £700 toward purchasing a motorbike for our home visits! Our goal is to raise £1,500, which means we’re already 47% of the way there. We now need to raise the remaining £800 to reach our target. With a motorbike, we can do so much more. Our physiotherapy assistant could spend three days a week out of the village doing home visits. At the same time, our physiotherapist could devote additional days to overseeing cases, supporting the team, implementing therapy programs, and ensuring more people receive the care they need. In the short term, we 'll hire  a bike to get started, but our dream is to own our own motorbike so we can reach many more people. Would you stand with us and help us raise the r...

Clinic times

Specialised therapy sessions, including physiotherapy and eye coordination activities, empower mobility for a better tomorrow.
Yesterday’s clinic truly inspired me. I felt a breakthrough, and I'm still filled with excitement! 🌟 For a while, I've wanted to collaborate with Prosy on various activities, and on September 16th, we finally had that opportunity. We played animal bingo, and she grasped how to engage in the game. Despite her challenges with communication due to delayed learning and physical disabilities, she participated actively in animal bingo. 🐾 She understood the game and thrived in the activity. Next, we tackled some jigsaw puzzles. 🧩 She needed a bit of guidance, but it was as if something clicked within her. Those moments are nothing short of magical. ✨ In October, we’ll be increasing our home visits, and I’m genuinely looking forward to that one-on-one time, knowing that Prosy will achieve remarkable things. 🙌 We'll focus on writing, helping her learn, understand, and comprehend. ✍️ She has immense potential, and yesterday's experience reminded me of how much is possible.   Meet Kirabo and Payasi.   Thanks to your support, these two little ones, who once faced overwhelming odds, are now smiling, learning, and dreaming again. The photographs you see aren’t just pictures; they’re living proof of what hope looks like when a community comes together. Their Stories are attached to the photos.   These children are just two among many, and their stories remind us of the incredible possibilities that arise when kindness turns into action.   Kirabo and Payasi are more than their struggles. They are children with bright smiles, resilient spirits, and futures worth fighting for. What they need now is support—the chance to continue therapy, to grow, and to thrive.
Praying With the Mothers   I’ve felt called to pray with our families to uplift them and show them they’re not alone. Many mothers carry deep burdens from their communities, and prayer unites people across different faiths here in Uganda.   When Mama Sheila asked for prayer for her husband to find work, we shifted the focus to her own gifts. This transformation is what we aim for: helping women recognise their worth and strength.   Home Visit: Imuran’s Story During a home visit with Imuran, a young man with a neurological disability, we realised he needs practical living skills for independence. Initially, the activities didn’t engage him, but when we suggested washing his dusty shoes, he became focused and proud. That moment sparked motivation and confidence—a small step toward independence.   A Village That Belongs to Everyone In Uganda, community is everything. We visited a village where everyone belongs and knows each person’s story. If a child wanders off...
